Our Story 

 Destiny Helpers Outreach Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Brooklyn, NY that envisions itself as a beacon for positive change and transformation.

After learning about the alarmingly high rates of teenage pregnancy, gang involvement and homelessness across communities in New York City the need for a new type of leadership and meaningful youth and family programs were apparent. In 2019, while living in a homeless shelter TrudyAnn Williams founded Destiny Helpers Outreach Inc. on April 24th, 2024.

Meet our team

TrudyAnn Williams, Executive Director

Founder and chief visionary, Trudy is the driving force behind the organization. She is a devoted mother and an advocate for at risk youth and families living in underserved communities. TrudyAnn has set out on a mission to change lives...one individual, one community at a time. She believes in creating and sustaining model communities that are safe for individuals to live, work and raise families. She walks by faith, leads with integrity and stays in her commitment to improve the lives of many.  

Kimesha Malcolm, CFO

Kimesha has over 9 years of accounting experience which she uses to ensure our financial documents are filed in a timely manner. Kimesha loves serving and never misses an opportunity to volunteer, donate and share in making someone else's life better.

Fay Simon-Blugh, Secretary

Fay is an expert at research and documenting! She is an empath who has worked extensively with people with disabilities. Fay is one of our most dependable team members. She is always ready to hit the ground running. Her attention to detail is superb and her unwavering commitment to our events is commendable.
