Brooklyn, NY (June 27, 2024) - We are honored to have Dewry DuRoi Bradford returning, for the 2nd time as a member of our judging panel! Dewry DuRoi Bradford, under ASQUI Ventures, has worked with numerous brands and celebrities, including Marvel, UFC, Alice + Olivia, Heatherette, Popluxe, and BET's 106&Park. He has also collaborated with Sean John, where he played a key role in Sean "Diddy" Combs receiving the CFDA Men's designer of the year award.
Dewry DuRoi has worked with other notable designers and companies such as Phat Farm, Ecko International, G-Unit, and Steve Madden Outerwear. He has designed collections for a wide range of clients, including Timberland, Puma Kids, Outkast, J-Lo, Jay-Z, and Nelson Mandela.
Dewry DuRoi, a Brooklyn native and former F.I.T. Menswear student, has established a fashion incubator to train the next generation of fashion industry professionals, particularly inner-city youth. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering sketching, sewing, draping, graphics, and technical packages, while also emphasizing creativity and the business of fashion. What sets this program apart is that it allows youth to earn as they learn, providing them with a fully built portfolio, bankable skills, and experience, as well as financial resources and opportunities in the industry.
Dewry DuRoi, through ASQUI Ventures, has also formed strategic partnerships with fashion brands and concert promotion and branding companies. He aims to establish the Pursuing Purpose Program, a multi-phased initiative that offers 12 hours of learning per week, including self-discovery training, design fundamentals, fashion show production, music production, and podcast creation. Participants in the program will receive stipends, earn a percentage of sales for their designs, and gain recognition for their music and podcasts.
